Margaret (Maggie) Mulholland's first husband Dan R. Griffin died in 1894.  With two young children, Isabelle age 3 and severely handicapped, and Arthur age 18 months, Maggie carried on as best she could with the family farm.  Her account book begins in March 1895 and continues faithfully through April 1930.
