East side of Main Street and Central from in front of the Jennings about 1939. Nearest building on the right is the L.M. Wheat Block (originally Smith's Hall)  - left store is Wood's Phrarmacy (formerly L.M. Wheat's Pharmacy). Right side is the Market Basket Grocery.  Upstairs is Dr. Earl Oakley's Dental Offices and the Odd Fellows Hall.  The building burned to the ground on January 24, 1940.  A Rotary Gas Station was built on the site a little over a year later (now Grannie's).
