Year: c1908  Location: 160-144 Main

Moravia House and Andrews (Hawley) Block, next is the Moravia National Bank (not to be confused with the 1st National Bank of Moravia two doors further south - the two banks merged in 1917).

Fred S. Hawley purchased Andrews Building and drug business from H.H. Alley in 1908.  About the time of this photo, J.D. Nooning had a dry goods and grocery store in the left half of the ground floor and Hawley operated the drug store in the right half.  Also about this time, Andrew Fowler operated a barber shop, likely on the 2nd floor, and the Covert brothers operated a cigar factory on the 2nd floor.
